Spring Break: What's in my Ethical Beach Bag
I'm headed to the Dominican Republic later this month for some R&R with friends, and all I can think about is what to pack. The great thing about living in the year 2018 is that it is now entirely possible to pack an ethical beach bag.
So much so in fact, that I had trouble narrowing down my "vacation girl" look ideas to just one! Lucky you, there are plenty of size-inclusive and ethically made options in this beezy.
I did not get paid by any of the brands below to promote their stuff, though maybe I should, am I right?
Scroll to the bottom for a little more insights into my picks, too.
EXCITING STUFF:
I want to call special attention to that supes cute striped crop top – that's an Alice Alexander crop and it's available for preorder at a big, big discount on Indiegogo right now, along with the rest of her ethical and size-inclusive collection – and there are just five days left to pledge. It goes up to size 28, so support indie and get yours!
Reformation finally heard all of my prayers, and they're now offering a mini collection that goes up to size 22. I'm reeeeeally curious about their fit and would love to hear from anyone who plans to give them a try! There's a 2-piece pant-crop set that I'm gaga over, but they didn't use a plus model for this one, so it's impossible to know whether it'll handle all I have going on up top.
Nooworks is bringing back their plus sizes in a few select items! This woman-owned brand makes everything down to the fabric in California, and their bold patterns and unique styles are the tits.
I'm really trying to up my SPF game this year, so I included 2 necessities for sun coverage: a super ethical and organic sun screen and an organic lipstick with SPF.
And finally, there's no rule that says we have to stop our ethical adventures with what's in our closets, so I've included a fair trade beach towel, too!
